We will miss "Quixotic Ike Lee". He was quite a character.

If you are looking for some place to work on Mondays, join the Station Gallery in Whitby. They have an open studio free of charge for members, from Monday, September 8th, till Monday, December 15th, 2008. It runs from 10:00 A.M. till 3:00 P.M. Other day and evening classes are provided at reasonable rates as well. Check out their website at, (www.whitbystationgallery.com/) .

I have tried to correct some of the mess but my marina pic. is under the copy and I made colour changes before I realized it was the main page and not my page.
Guess it's not so bad though if you didn't notice.....should have kept my mouth shut!

When you go downstairs to the washroom at the Briars, check out the big wall map of all the farms between Markham and Lake Simcoe at the turn of the century. My Grandmothers family name is "Brillinger" They had a huge farm in Gormley.

I've been busy with art shows this past few weeks and working on new work for up coming shows. Sandy and I will be in Sutton this week-end for the Purple Turtle Art Festival at the Briars.
No other art shows until Uxbridge 's Art in the Park in Mid Aug. and then busy again with a bunch of shows up until the end of Sept.
Have your had a good summer so far this year.
If you get a chance to visit the art show this week-end we would be glad to see you.
