About Me:
Born and raised on the West Island of Montreal. Moved to Pickering in 1987. I have three great kids and two grandkids. I have been painting for 10 years and have recently joined the Ajax Creative Arts Group. I attend Bayfair Baptist Church and also help lead a ladies bible study group in Whitby. I enjoy all water activities, swimming, boating.
Favorite Music:
I like singing away to the oldies especially when I am driving! Easy rock I guess. I like to hear the big show production songs and orchestral music as well. I am particularly impressed with the high school musicals where the kids sing and play in the bands.
Favorite Books:
I like reading mystery, romance, biographies. I like children's books as well , check out the illustrations!

The gourd woman

I have been thinking of the various art forms that I have been interested in over the years. A few years ago I saw gourd art at a local show and bought some seeds to try to grow my own hard-shelled gourds for crafting and painting. The first year was not successful as I tried to grow them in my backyard and may have been a bit late in planting them. I perservevered and bought more seeds from Northern Dipper Farm in Ontario. Hi Lynn:
Nice to hear from you,hope your summer is going slower then mine....can't believe we're almost in August! Glad to see you are painting,hope your summer show goes well and that I only get to see a picture of your Heron! Am doing the Uxbridge art in the park with Kim Robertson in a couple of weeks so hope the rain has moved off for awhile. Am painting as well as painting walls...ripped my studio apart last week and stripped wallpaper(yuk) but it's finally finished and really happy with it.
Well,gotta go paint for fun now,see you in a couple of weeks...have a great show!

Hi Lynn I think we really should think about flying to Ohio next Year that was a great trip. We didn't get to scout around much anyway. Taking taxi's will get us to shopping no more getting lost. Bonnie
